International Recognition

Universities in over 55 countries outside the United States recognize AP for credit, advanced placement and/or in the admissions process. Among these universities are McGill University, Oxford University, all campuses of Tecnológico de Monterrey, as well as every university in Austria and Germany.

The AP Program is seeking to provide up-to-date information to AP students interested in applying to universities outside the United States. This information will be posted prominently within the College Board's student Web site, at the link below.

Institutions that wish to add their AP Policy to this listing should complete the online form, provided in both English and Spanish, below.

Request a DI Code
A Designated Institution (DI) code enables colleges, universities and organizations to be selected by students to receive AP and SAT scores. The DI code will appear as an option for students when determining where to send their scores.

To establish a DI code, please complete the Designated Institution (DI) Code Request Form.
