Pre-AP: Topics for Vertical Teams in Music Theory

A Vertical Team in music, which reinforces music theory skills and concepts from one grade level to the next, is an ideal way to prepare students for AP Music Theory. This workshop shows how content can drive collaboration and communication among music teachers (including classroom, band, choir, and orchestra teachers) to further music literacy in students and help them develop as musicians. You will gain an understanding of the impact that team building has on the overall learning experience of students.

Length: 1 day
