| | AP Vertical Teams Guides
The purpose of the AP Vertical Teams Guides is to provide direction, models, and training to Vertical Teams that will help team members organize a series of productive activities, meetings, and workshops that lead to a comprehensive, coordinated program in a given discipline. The concept of Vertical Teams incorporates the idea that the offerings of the Advanced Placement Program should not be isolated courses, but rather a planned program for teaching skills and concepts over several years. One objective is to develop a continuum of skill building from one grade level to the next, and therefore, AP Vertical Teams Guides are recommended for both AP teachers and middle school teachers.
