About the Event
Join us for this interactive seminar to discuss the changes to the AP® Physics B curriculum as a result of the work of the AP Physics Redesign Commission. Participants will learn what changes will be made to the course, how the changes will be implemented, and what impact the changes will have on course content and the AP Physics B Exam. Come discuss how teachers can prepare for these changes and what resources will be available to assist teachers in this change process.
About the Presenter
Deborah M. Roudebush has been a high school physics teacher for 20 years. She has taught AP Physics C for 18 years. In 2001, Roudebush achieved National Board Certification and was the Virginia recipient of the President’s Award for Excellence in Science Teaching. Most recently, she has served as an AP Reader and is a member of the AP Physics Redesign Commission. She has been active in the Physics Teaching Resource Agent (PTRA) program since 1992. She has also been involved with QuarkNet since 2000.
