Home > Dixie Ross Dixie Ross by Dixie , Ross Teacher Pflugerville High School Pflugerville, Texas Dixie Ross is a classroom teacher at Pflugerville High School, Pflugerville, TX, and has over 19 years of teaching experience in all levels of mathematics from remedial to AP Calculus BC. Professional experience: Dixie began as a mathematics teacher at Taylor High School in Taylor, Texas. She started the Advanced Placement program there in 1989 and began working as a College Board® consultant and workshop leader in 1994. She served on the development committees for the Math Vertical Teams Toolkit, the Setting the Cornerstones workshop and the new Building Success in Mathematics workshop, and has also served as a reader for the Advanced Placement examination. She is now teaching at Pflugerville High School, Pflugerville, TX. Education: Dixie holds bachelor's degrees in both English and secondary education from the University of Texas at Austin. Personal: Dixie's main hobby is playing with her four-year-old son. She enjoys going to movies and to the beach, and reading.
