Ken Daley

Ken Daley is a Professor of Art at Old Dominion University.
Professional experience: Ken joined the faculty of Old Dominion University in 1965, and he has been a Reader in studio art for the College Board since 1995. Currently Ken is the Acting Chair of the Art Department -- he served as chair for twelve years prior to 1992. He has taught foundation courses in design and drawing, and upper level courses in art criticism, book arts, screenprinting, intaglio processes, lithography, and relief printing.
In the mid-eighties Professor Daley worked with local school boards to help set up the first Governor's School for the Arts. The Governor's School allows talented high school students in the visual arts, theater, music, and dance weekly access to courses and equipment at local universities and professional arts organizations.
Ken has exhibited widely in national and international juried and invitational shows; his work is included in many private and museum collections. Ken's art ranges from traditional printmaking processes to large multimedia installations. He has been a visiting artist at a number of institutions, such as the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, the Ohio State University, Cornish College of Art, Rollins College, Massachusetts College of Art, and the Zhejiang Academy of Art in Hangzhou, PRC.
