AP Central Search Tips

Here are some quick pointers for getting the most from your search of AP Central:

Entering your information
  • Type keywords related to what you are looking for (or a question or phrase) in the search box.
  • The search is not case sensitive. Enter any combination of capital and lowercase letters.
  • Use quotes around words that are part of a phrase -- for example, "Calculus Exam"
  • The search will look for all words or phrases you type
  • If you want to limit your search to articles and PDF files for certain courses, check the boxes next to the courses you would like specify
  • Select the sort of results. "Closest Match" is the default setting.
  • Click on the "Search" button
Once the search results appear, you can make a new search by typing into the box at the top of the screen, or by selecting "More Search Options".
