Mary Kohelis teaches AP Economics and AP World History at Brooke High School in Wellsburg, West Virginia. She received her B.S. from Ohio State University and her M.S. from Marshall University. Serving as a consultant, she has presented AP Economics workshops for the College Board and the West Virginia Center for Professional Development. In 1990 she was named the Economics Teacher of the Year by the West Virginia Council of Economic Education and the West Virginia Enterprise and Education Foundation, and in 2004 she was named the Brooke County Teacher of the Year. She has served as an AP Economics Exam Reader for the past 13 years and also currently serves as a member of the AP Economics Development Committee.

Sally Meek has been an economics teacher in the Plano Independent School District in Plano, Texas, since 1987. A member of the AP Economics Development Committee, she was awarded the College Board Southwestern Region AP Special Recognition Award in 2004. She was a steering committee member for the NAEP economics assessment and is a past president (2004–2005) of the Advisory Committee for Global Association of Teachers of Economics (GATE).

Arthur Raymond is the head of the Accounting, Business and Economics Department at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. A former member of the AP Economics Development Committee, he currently serves as the Chief Reader for AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics.

About the Editor
Richard K. Rankin has taught AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics at Iolani School in Honolulu, Hawaii, since 1994. Dick holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Virginia Military Institute, an MBA from Shippensburg University, and a master’s degree in economics from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a retired colonel, having served in the U.S. Army for 26 years. While on active duty, he taught classes in principles of economics and was the course director for sophomore economics at the United States Military Academy at West Point and at the University of Maryland. He was named the nation’s top teacher of economics at the NASDAQ National Teaching Awards in 2001, and was named Outstanding Teacher of the Year by the Department of Social Sciences at West Point. Dick has served as a Reader for the AP Microeconomics Exam and a Reader as well as Table Leader for the AP Macroeconomics Exam. Dick is a former Development Committee member, and is a board member on the Hawaii Council on Economic Education. He is the author of Money Management for Starters.
