Exam Changes for 2005

Beginning with the 2005 examination, the order of question types on the choice author questions for the AP Latin Literature Examination are as follows:

Previous Order of Choice Author Questions                 New Order of Choice Author Questions
LL4, 7, 10                  Short Identification                                    Short Essay
LL5, 8, 11                  Translation                                                 Translation
LL6, 9, 12                  Short Essay                                                Short Identification

The purpose of the change was to make sure that students have the maximum opportunity to answer the short essay question, since it has the greatest weight of the three choice author questions. If it is placed first, students are most likely to answer it.
