Student Commentary
Briefly define the nature of your concentration project.
The nature of my concentration is the development and transformation of a shoe to convey the human spirit and emotions including but not limited to the seven deadly sins.

Briefly describe the development of your concentration project and the sources of your ideas. You may refer to specific slides as examples.
My concentration developed through the experience of strong emotion and a project that I had to do for my art class. I became fascinated by the transformation of shoes to convey emotion. For example, slide 8 represents the sin of gluttony and uses candy, pasta, and broken plates to demonstrate this. Furthermore, slide 11 represents anger as expressed by the materials used, which are broken dollhouse furniture and a broken mirror.

What medium or media did you use?
Many different media were used in the development of my concentration. These items include: clay, leather, broken glass, natural debris, jewelry, silverware, Legos, wood, as well as other materials.
* Important Note:
The numbers of the slides run from top left to bottom right.
  1. 17 x 12 x 8, wood, leather, paint
