Briefly define the nature of your concentration project.
The nature of my concentration project deals with the experimentation of using mixed media to create fantasy/imaginative-like artwork. Mostly acrylic and pen were used in most of the pieces as the heaviest media, along with many hints of pastels, oil markers, color sticks, regular markers, and collage.
Briefly define the development of your concentration and the sources of your ideas. You may refer to specific pieces as examples.
The development of my concentration came from studying several artists, some with interesting styles and others with just a creative way of collaging their artwork. Using color is a way of fulfilling my desire of creating a world that's real and non-real at the same time. Going into detail with pen and other fine materials, such as markers, created the mixed media sensation that I was hoping to create.
What media did you use?
I used different media, from pen to newspaper. My mixed media artwork involved pen, acrylic paint, oil markers, color sticks, regular markers, newspaper prints, photos, and so on and so forth.
