Exam Content
The AP Physics Exam was first offered as a single exam in 1956. It stayed that way until it was separated into two exams -- AP Physics B and Physics C -- in 1969. The AP Physics B Exam covers a full-year non-calculus college course on general physics, intended for students not majoring in a physical science or engineering.

Note about "Form B" Exams
Prior to the May 2012 exam administration, for selected AP subjects, another version of the exam called "Form B" was administered outside of North, Central, and South America.
