Creation and Location of Early Cities In this lesson, students become familiar with the basic creation models of city formation and the importance of location and economics. Activity One is an introductory lesson designed to teach students topographical importance. Activity Two demonstrates the importance of location of resources and their perceived value. This is geared to the AP Human Geography student, as individual analysis will be key in their understanding of these concepts.
