Paragraph Completion (Without Root Words)

|
| | Description
The second part of the writing section will consist of two paragraph-completion tasks -- root words will not be provided. Students will be asked to read two brief paragraphs and fill in 10 blanks (5 in each paragraph) with the most appropriate words. This part of the exam measures accuracy, grammar, and usage (function words, prepositions, helping verbs, present perfect, conjunctions, demonstrative pronouns, set expressions, articles, relative pronouns, etc.).
