There are so many great ways to teach sorting. They include, but are not limited to, sorting human bodies by heights (or some other attribute), playing with building blocks, sorting the rings of the Tower of Hanoi toy, and moving colored transparency squares on the overhead. Two of our AP CS colleagues and university instructors present their favorite techniques below.
