A great, all-around site, this is a must-start-here point for Geography. It features articles and links related to the science and profession of geography, as well as many other geography topics. The site is well worth a trip, as the topic you are looking for will most likely be covered in the left-hand frame or the mid-page links.

Virtual Geography Department Project
This site from the University of Texas provides an outstanding overview of urban geography. It is part of a virtual course, so there are a lot of graphs and visuals, as well as some interactive applications. The site includes a course outline, materials, and lists of resources for many of the major ideas in this section of the AP® Human Geography course.
