AP World History Best Practices

The College Board has recently published a Best Practices book for AP World History teachers. Best Practices are teaching strategies shown by experience to help students in developing the habits of mind for AP World History and in using them to explore the themes of AP World History. This publication, prepared under the general editorship of Patrick Manning and Deborah Smith Johnston of the World History Center at Northeastern University in Boston, is intended to enable students and their teachers to interpret and illustrate the events and processes of history across regions and over long periods of time.
