ChemFinder.com
I use this site to find out specific information about virtually any chemical substance one would come across when teaching AP Environmental Science. It is particularly useful in the chapters on environmental health and toxic substances. When the page opens, simply type in the name of the compound or element you are interested in and you will get a list of alternative names, the structural formula (if applicable), and a list of physical properties. Then, if you scroll down, there is a long list of links for biochemistry, health, medications, MSDS information, physical properties, regulations, and Uses. I find the link for "minimal risk levels for hazardous substances" to be particularly useful in finding the health hazards for well over 100 elements and compounds (presented in alphabetical order).

Current National Primary Drinking Water Standards
This site lists legally enforceable standards that apply to public water systems for microorganisms, disinfectants, inorganic chemicals, organic chemicals, and radio nuclides. It is organized in chart form and lists the maximum contaminant goal, the maximum contaminant level, potential health effects from ingestion of water, and sources of contaminants in drinking water. There also is a link explaining how the standards are set.
