Integrating the Internet into AP ES
One of the most tangible benefits of the Internet for teachers is its utility as a supplementary teaching tool in the classroom. This is particularly true in the AP Environmental Science classroom, where Web sites can illustrate abstract concepts through interactive tools and animation. The Internet is also a vast research tool, providing a gateway for students to conduct their own explorations and develop hypotheses about the interrelationships of the natural world.

The Web sites in the Environmental Science Web Guide have been grouped according to the major content areas from the Topic Outline, plus a list of general sites of interest to AP Environmental Science teachers. Follow the links above in "Web Guide Sections" for each category.
