How is the final grade determined?
A composite score with equal weight given to Section I and Section II of the exam is computed. The Chief Reader for AP Calculus works in conjunction with the statistical analysis and mathematics test-development staff at ETS to establish the AP grade ranges (the range of raw scores that determine a particular AP grade). For more detail on this process, see Exam Scoring. -- Michael Boardman and Lin McMullin
