Part A of the multiple-choice section of the exam (Section I) contains four sets of questions based on slides of works of art. The slide or slides for each of these sets of questions is shown for about four minutes. The number of questions per set varies from year to year, but is about one-quarter of the 115 questions included in Section I.
The other part of the exam that contains questions based on slides is Section II, Part A. This part consists of seven questions, each based on one or two slides and/or on a quotation from a primary source or document. -- AP Program
